Newly renovated, Marsh Flower Lodge is a quiet 5-acre property located on the beautiful Albemarle Sound, in Currituck County, NC.  It is the perfect setting to rehash the day's stories. If you are seeking a place to relax, our spacious lodge offers the perfect getaway.  There are accommodations for 8, with 6 bedrooms and 2 full baths located centrally. Outfitted with high quality mattresses, there are 4 queen private rooms, a queen and full semiprivate, and a semiprivate with 2 twin beds. All linens/towels furnished. You need to only bring your own personal items.  

For breakfast, there is seating for ten while dining in the lodge for your morning meal.  We have two antique dining tables, one that has been in our family for 100 years.

Fully renovated in 2024, the lodge leans into its roots with antiques and rustic charm. Enjoy our generous covered porch that provides 1000 sf of living space where guest can enjoy a game of cornhole or horseshoes. 

A long pier takes you to the water's edge where you can hear the swan's song in the winter months, and it is quite possible to see an abundance of other wildlife.

Breakfast

A small morning meal is offered in the lodge, enjoy a cup of joe (locally outsourced coffee) from our coffee bar equipped with a two-way coffee maker with keurig combo or choose a cup of hot tea from an assortment of teas. A self-serve continental style breakfast is available each morning.

Lunch

Before you leave for the day, grab a brown bag packed lunch to enjoy during your scheduled activities.  

Dinner

Dinner for the Marsh Flower Lodge is provided in the "Main House." Located on the grounds, the Main House boasts a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen.  A relaxed home cooked sit-down dinner is served each evening. 

Dinner will be served as a group at our large antique table that seats 10 as you enjoy sharing the day's success or tomorrow's anticipation.  We are dedicated to the tastiest, freshest Southern cooking. To this day (50 years later), we still serve Grandma Elsie's recipes with the same love and attention to detail. Our cooking is traditional homemade from scratch cooking.

We have 10 years' experience running and owning The Crawford House, a home style restaurant, plus another 15 years managing the food and lodging at a robust, local hunting lodge. We are attuned to our guests' needs. No matter the dietary restrictions such as Gluten-Free, Nut Free, Dairy Free, or Vegan we would love to be accommodate your requirements. We are one of few lodges that can boast being capable of exquisite meals that have dietary restrictions.
